As we get ready for our Greece Creative Retreat in April 2027…we thought we’d share what we each love most about traveling and teaching together.

One of my favorite jobs on every retreat is being the official Mamarazzi! I love capturing Kenzie in her element and documenting all of the laughter, creativity, and unforgettable moments we experience together.

I absolutely love watching creative minds at work. Give a group of artists the same supplies and the same prompt, and you’ll get completely different masterpieces. That kind of magic never gets old.

Most of all, I treasure laughing until our cheeks hurt with women who quickly become friends. There’s something special that happens when like-minded souls gather around a table with paint, paper, and a spirit of adventure.

One of my favorite things about travel is simply wandering. I love getting a little lost, turning down charming side streets, and discovering places we’d never find with a map.

And let’s be honest… the food is always part of the adventure! From fresh pastries to seaside dinners, I love trying flavors that become part of the memories.

The best part, though? The inside jokes, spontaneous dance parties, and all those little moments that can’t be planned.

Travel also gives me something I don’t always find at home…it gives me space to slow down, breathe deeply, and rediscover parts of myself that sometimes get buried in everyday life.
