Imagine creating your Greece journal… while actually living the experience.

There’s something magical about keeping a travel journal.

It becomes so much more than a collection of pretty pages. It holds the colors you noticed, the meals you lingered over, the flowers growing beside a stone wall, the people you met, the scraps of paper tucked into your pocket…and all those tiny moments you never want to forget.

Next April, Kenzie and I invite you to join us in beautiful Zakynthos, Greece, for a creative retreat designed around exactly that.

And yes… you’ll be making art.

But you’ll also be very, very spoiled.

Throughout our time together, we’ll explore all kinds of playful approaches to travel journaling…whether you consider yourself an artist or simply someone who wants to become more creative and confident.

We’ll dive into:

• Junk journaling with collected ephemera, transforming the bits and pieces of our travels into layered, meaningful pages.
• Using photographs of objects, people and landscapes as inspiration to build beautiful and unexpected journal spreads.
• Drawing exercises designed to build confidence and skills, helping you loosen up, look more closely and find your own way of capturing what you see.
• Noticing the flora and fauna of Greece and turning those discoveries into drawings, paintings, motifs and patterns.
• Spontaneous side lessons with Kenzie and me! If there’s something you see us doing that you want to learn…or an idea you’d love to explore…we want this retreat to have room for those creative detours, too.

And all of this happens in an absolutely gorgeous Greek setting, where you can settle in, exhale and simply create.

You’ll be served delicious food.

You’ll have time to make art, wander, connect and be inspired.

And you’ll be completely pampered while we take care of the details.

Of course, we’re not staying tucked away with our journals the entire time!

We’ll venture into the charming town of Zante, soaking in the colors, architecture, shops and everyday details that make travel such wonderful creative fuel.

And one of the experiences we’re most excited about…

A boat cruise around the breathtaking coves and coastline of Zakynthos. Imagine brilliant blue water, hidden beaches, dramatic cliffs and your camera roll overflowing with inspiration for your journal pages.

This retreat is about learning new techniques, yes.

But it’s also about experiencing a place with an artist’s eyes.

Noticing more. Collecting more. Playing more. And coming home with a journal that doesn’t just show where you went…
